The only US city with an all-Muslim governing body and mayor has banned the display of Pride flags on all public buildings.
Holy intersectional conundrum!
How will the progressive Left resolve this dispute between their two favourite pets?
Will the Left applaud the Muslim stance as a wonderful example of multicultural diversity while branding themselves as homophobes?
Or will the Left slam their Mohammad-loving friends as religious bigots while condemning themselves as Islamophobes?
Imagine if a city board dominated by white Christians banned the rainbow flag! The Left would know exactly what to do. ‘Crucify them!’
But what is the Left do when they fight for the right of Muslims to migrate to America, only for them to arrive and behave like, well, Muslims?
Even-handed
The city council of Hamtramck, Michigan, passed the resolution prohibiting the display of LGBTQ Pride flags on all city properties last week.
To be fair, they didn’t only ban the Pride flag. They banned any religious, ethnic, racial, political, or sexual orientation group flags, agreeing that only the American flag could be flown.
The ruling was celebrated with cheers and applause inside City Hall.

Nothing like based Afghanistan migrants enjoying their newfound freedom in America.
So what happens now?
Will ANTIFA thugs march on Hamtramck?
Will CNN and MSNBC label the Muslims in Hamtramck ‘white supremacists’?
Will the progressive church condemn the Muslims as religious nationalists?
Virtue Signallers
I think we all know that the Left will ignore Hamtramck completely — not because they are embarrassed by their own internal contradictions, but because involvement in the dispute serves them no purpose.
The Left love Muslims because the Left loves power. They love the LGBTQ crowd for the same reason.
To the extent that the Left can leverage Muslims and gays to achieve more power, they are interested in them. But the interest extends no further than that.
The Left has nothing to gain from a fight in Hamtramck between trans apostle Dylan Mulvaney and the Islamic prophet Mohammad.
Progressives will leave them to duke it out.
