About Alison Keen

Alison Keen was born and raised in Melbourne, but has also lived in the beautiful city of Adelaide.

After finishing high school, she went on to complete a double bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Communications Engineering. She married her husband Nathan while still at university, was a working mum for a time, and is currently a stay-at-home mum.

Despite 10 years' experience in children's ministry from toddlers to grade 6, her heart is for her own generation. She believes over-educated Gen Y and Gen Z Australians are one of the hardest people groups to reach. The flood of information - true and otherwise - means that it is hard for the truth of the gospel to be heard over the top of the cacophony of TV streaming, selfies, memes, and ads.

Alison is part of the team at the Australian Christian Values Institute.

It is a source of constant frustration that almost nobody knows what laws are currently being discussed, nor what changes have been passed recently. She believes it is important that these resources are presented in a way which upholds biblical values of truth and righteousness and encourages wise decisions.

Nathan, Alison and their children are part of Warragul Church of Christ, in Victoria.
